We often encounter strange medical conditions in humans and animals. These conditions stand out as they change the patient’s appearance. Although sometimes humans start to look somewhat like animals, there are also cases where animals look somewhat like humans. In a strange turn of events, a goat gave birth to a deformed baby with a human-like face in Madhya Pradesh. The incident reportedly took place in Semal Khedi village of Sironj tehsil in Vidisha, Madhya Pradesh.

According to Daily Star, the baby goat shocked people because it had a human-like face. It has human-like eyes, mouth and nose. The eyes have black rings around them that look like human glasses. It also has thick white fur on its head and around its chin that resembles a beard.

The video posted on Twitter by News Track shows several people feeding the deformed goat. Owned by Nawab Khan, this goat was the first to give birth to all his livestock, which included a buffalo and seven goats. Locals flocked to his house when news of a goat with a human face spread throughout the village.

Due to its deformed face, the goat can only be fed with a syringe. According to veterinarian Manav Singh, the goat’s condition is called “head dyspepsia”. One in every 50,000 newborn animals has this disorder, and it is more common in cattle than goats.

This condition, which causes swelling of the animal’s head, is called “hydrocephalus” and has two known causes. The first is that the mother is deficient in Vitamin A during pregnancy and the second is that she took the wrong medicine during pregnancy. Hydrocephalus means there is too much fluid in the brain, either due to drainage problems or overproduction.
