The cave that is about to be opened for tourism in Quang Binh has more than 1,000 stalactites, uniform in size, almost impossible to find anywhere else.
The Department of Culture – Sports – Tourism of Quang Binh province recently organized a field survey of Va cave and Nuoc Nut cave, to welcome guests for this new adventure tour.

Sharing with Zing.vn, cave expert Howard Limbert said that Va cave is located in the core area of the World Natural Heritage Phong Nha – Ke Bang (Bo Trach district, Quang Binh). Ho Khanh discovered it in 2000, then the “cave king” led Limbert and his wife to explore. Mrs. Deb (55 years old, Howard Limbert’s wife) was the first person to explore this place.

“Hang Va is the most special and different place in the world, because inside the cave there is a system of stalactites with about 1,000 very uniform sized blocks. The stalactites look like they grow from the ground. These stalactites are very precious, very fragile and almost non-existent in the world,” Limbert said.
The wooden bridge is expected to be shorter and narrower than Van Ky Truong Kieu in Thien Duong cave, because the inside of Va cave is narrower and more difficult to explore than En cave. Howard Limbert said that this discovery tour is not to be missed for those who love adventure travel because the discovery journey is convenient and does not require high health.

Currently, the plan to exploit a discovery tour called Hang Va – Nuoc Nut Cave, with different experiences is waiting for approval from the Provincial People’s Committee. It is expected that this tour will be put into operation in July. Quang Binh Provincial People’s Committee will open a survey before licensing one of the local travel units to operate the tour.
