Thousands of hexagonal stone bars are arranged along a water stream more than 1 km long in Van village (Ia Ly town, Chu Pah district, Gia Lai) with a strange shape like a honeycomb. Gia Lai Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism said that this is a place with tourism potential, capable of building a scientific dossier to request a relic ranking of Gia Lai province, and needs to be protected and kept in its current state.
Looking down from above, the hexagonal stones seem to be perfectly arranged by “Mother” nature like a giant honeycomb.
The road to the rocky stream is very easy, just go to Ia Ly town and ask the people, everyone knows this place
This is also a fun place for children in Van village to go fishing and swimming
The hexagonal stone bars are arranged close together, like the rocks at Ganh Da Dia – a special national monument in Phu Yen province.
Many stone bars are arranged like thousands of vertical bundles of chopsticks, each bar weighing tens of tons
Water flowing through millions of years erodes the rock, the deepest part is about 5 meters
The people of Van village call the stream Jrai Pha or Ia Ruai, associated with many different stories.
The Jrai ethnic community in this area is very proud of the stream and ancient rocks and wants this site to be protected.
