Looking at this photo, probably 90% of people think they are fake photos. Because how many people believe that there exists a creature with such a strange transparent shape in this world?

But the truth is that Mother Nature has created a creature with a fish-like head, a shrimp-like tail, but a wonderfully transparent body like a jellyfish.

It is known that this creature was first discovered in the sea about 70km from the Karikari Peninsula, New Zealand by a fisherman while fishing offshore.

After sharing, many people thought that this was a product of photoshop or did not believe in the creature that the fisherman shared.

Researchers at the Institute of Oceanography in Plymouth found the answer that this creature is actually a sea goby (Salpa Maggiore).

Goby fish are often found in cold waters, the southern ocean. They have tube-shaped bodies, hard scales, and bodies as solid as jelly.

The body of the goby fish has a gelatinous consistency. They move by contracting, pulling water at the front end and pushing water back like jet propulsion.

The goby’s food is ephemeral, but in its transparent body there is a mucous membrane that helps clean all edible materials, filtering out excess.

With this transparent body, goby fish easily camouflage and avoid being hunted by predators.

Researching a little deeper, the group of experts discovered that this creature has a quite unique way of life. Depending on the cycle, they can live as individuals (single) or in groups.

With a group life cycle, goby fish will link their bodies into a large chain, moving together, eating together and growing together.
